Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has released the notification for recruitment of Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik posts for the year 2025. The recruitment will be conducted for CGEPT 01/2026 and CGEPT 02/2026 batches. Eligible candidates can apply online from 11 July 2025.

Eligibility Conditions:
Online applications are invited from MALE INDIAN CITIZENS possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the posts of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) & Yantriks in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.
Educational Qualification:
- Navik (General Duty): Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
- Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
- Yantrik: Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 3 or 4 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
- OR Class 10th & Class 12th passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering.
Age Limit:
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years. The relevant dates are as follows:
- Navik (GD) for 01/26 & 02/26 batch: Candidate should be born between 01 August 2004 to 01 August 2008.
- Yantrik for 01/26 batch: Candidate should be born between 01 March 2004 to 01 March 2008.
- Navik (Domestic Branch) for 02/26 batch: Candidate should be born between 01 August 2004 to 01 August 2008.
- Note: Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates is applicable if the posts are reserved for them.
Pay Scale:
- Navik (GD & Domestic Branch): ₹21,700/- (Level 3) + allowances
- Yantrik: ₹29,200/- (Level 5) + ₹6,200/- Yantrik pay + allowances
Application Fee:
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹300/-
- SC/ST: Nil
