Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years as of the last date of online application.

Age Relaxations:

  • **For Constable (Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, and Khoji/Syce):** Matriculation or equivalent and proficiency in the respective trade, along with qualifying the trade test.
  • **For Constable (Cook, Water Carrier, and Waiter):** Matriculation or equivalent and a National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-I course in food production or Kitchen from a recognized institute. The cut-off date for acquiring this qualification is 23-08-2025.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of the following phases:

  1. **First Phase:** Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
  2. **Second Phase:** Written Examination.
  3. **Third Phase:** Documentation, Trade Test, and Medical Examination (DME/RME).

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) includes a race: 5 km for males to be completed within 24 minutes and 1.6 km for females within 8.30 minutes. The PET is only qualifying in nature and does not carry any marks.
